London Broil in crockpot
Ingredients:
3 tablespoons flour
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon sweet paprika
1 1/2 pounds London broil
Small jar (4 to 6 ounces) of mushrooms, drained
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 can condensed tomato soup
1 pkg dry onion soup mix
Directions:
Mix together flour, ground black pepper, and paprika; rub London broil with mixture then put in crock pot.
In a bowl, combine mushrooms, cream of mushroom soup, tomato soup, and onion soup mix; pour over meat.
Cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours, or HIGH for 4 to 5 hours.
This literally falls apart. Melt in your mouth goodness. A great compliment to this dish is another easy crock pot recipe that I use all the time. It makes a ton so you have lots in the fridge for the days that follow.
Crock Pot Apple Sauce
Ingredients:
6 Granny Smith apples
3 Red Delicious apples
3 McIntosh apples
3/4 cup of light brown sugar
1.5 tablespoons of lemon juice
Cinnamon to taste (I used several healthy shakes of cinnamon)
Directions:
Peel and slice your apples, place them in the crock pot.
Pour in the lemon juice, sugar, and cinnamon. Stir to combine.
Cook on low for about 4 hours.
Using a potato masher mash up the apples. It will be very juicy and a liquid consistency. Turn off the crock pot and allow it to sit for about 30 minutes so it reabsorbs the liquid and thickens. Stir well.
Serve warm or chilled.
