DIY Amazing Barnyard Farm Cake
This barnyard cake is an assortment of all characteristics of a barnyard. It includes a big red barn, and 4 barnyard animal. Although this cake is quite a challenge to make, you can make it with a lot of time and work.
The first step towards making this cake would be finding a base. I just use a block of wood, and start building my cake on it. I do not suggest icing the base of this cake yet.
The next step would be creating your round cake for the bottom. Make sure that the surface is flat, so that it cake properly hold the barn once you put it on.
The next step would be cover the round cake in green fondant. Don’t do anymore decorating to this part of the cake.
Now, you need to make rice krispies treats, and shape the barnyard. This will be one of your largest challenges. You have to use a knife, in order to flatten the sides of the building
The next step is decorating the cake. I’d suggest working from the top to the bottom. Decorate the barn with fondant, and a little bit of icing, for protruding parts of the building.
