chocolate covered peanut butter banana bites.
PB ‘Nana Cream Bites
I hesÂiÂtate to even call this a recipe, as it’s so basic it’s really more of a guideÂline. These cold morsels of nomÂness conÂtain the triÂfecta of flaÂvor– banana, peanut butÂter and chocoÂlate. You can always subÂstiÂtute a difÂferÂent nut butter.
2 large bananas
1/4 cup natÂural peanut butÂter
1/2 cup chocoÂlate chips
2 tbsp-1/4 cup milk of choice
Line a cookie sheet with waxed paper or parchÂment. Slice bananas into coins about 1/2–3/4 inch thick. Spread a litÂtle dolÂlop of peanut butÂter on top of each one. In a small bowl, comÂbine the chocoÂlate chips and milk (rememÂber, less is more). Microwave in 15 secÂond increÂments until you can whisk them together. You want it to be a dipable conÂsisÂtency, not spreadÂable. Add a splash more milk if necÂesÂsary. Dip the banana chunks using a fork as a litÂtle chocolate-coating forkÂlift, dipÂping them into the melted chocoÂlate. Place chocoÂlate coated bananas on the preÂpared sheet and place in freezer until comÂpletely frozen (3–5 hours). Remove frozen banana chunks from the sheet and store in a freezer container.
